Western Oklahoma’s Untitled Pop Up Theatre (UPUT) is partnering with the Elk City Chamber of Commerce and Christmas in the Park to bring “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” by Barbara Robinson to Elk City, November 28, 29 and 30, 2025. Director, Tiphani Henderson is excited to present this a warm story for the holiday season.
In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids – probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won’t believe the mayhem – and the fun – when the Herdmans collide head-on with the story of Christmas!
This delightful show is adapted from the bestselling Young Adult book, and has become a holiday staple for groups across the United States. The crowd-pleasing comedy features plenty of great roles for children and adults, a few favorite Christmas Carols, and lots of laughs.
Cast includes: Denton Wood as “Bob Bradley”, Joanna Wood as “Grace Bradley”, Kaydean Nalley will portray “Beth Bradley” and the younger brother “Charlie Bradley” will be played by Case Nalley. The six Herman Children are: Leo Drew as “Ralph,” Malaiah Campbell as “Imogene”, Blake Wood as “Leroy”, Cindy Campbell as “Claude,” Holly Anderson as “Ollie” and the littlest Herdman “Gladys” played by Annilee Lambright. Rest of the cast includes: Faith Hendricks, Cecilia Gensman, Alyssa Elgin, Nicholet Campbell, Dawnia Nalley, Lauren Raney, Aaleiah Grissom, Kalum Barber, Colette Campbell, Isabella Drew, Harper Hendricks, Dorothy Moore, Ashley Moore, Sophia Moore, Zacharias Furr, and Lincoln Henry.
